Arbi Ki Sabji Recipe | Taro Root Stir Fry


Arbi Ki Sabji Recipe is also called as Chemagadda Fry Recipe, Chemadumpala Fry Recipe etc. It is very quick and easy recipe. It is delicious with rice. It can be served as side dish to any rice recipes also well.

How to prepare Arbi Ki Sabji Recipe | Taro Root Stir Fry

Ingredients:

Chamagadda/Arbi/Taro Root – 250 g
Salt as required
Cumin seeds – 1 tablespoon
Garlic cloves – 2-3
Red chili powder as required
Tamarind – 4-5 pieces

Arbi Ki Sabji Recipe | Taro Root Stir Fry Preparation Method:

1. Take a blender, add 2 tablespoons of red chili powder, 1 ½ tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon cumin seeds, 2-3 garlic cloves. Blend it well. Keep this masala powder aside.

2. Cook Arbi in a cooker by adding required water, salt and 4-5 pieces of tamarind. Cook them for 2-3 whistles in a cooker.

3. Peel off Arbi and chop them into your required size. Keep them aside.

4. Heat a pan with oil for deep fry. When oil heated, add fry cooked Arbi pieces in oil. When they changed to golden brown, take them out from the oil and place them on tissue paper to absorb excess oil.

5. Then, transfer them into a bowl, add required masala powder to fried Arbi and mix it well.

6. Now the delicious and quick Arbi Ki Sabji Recipe is ready to serve. Serve this with hot steamed rice with ghee or as a side dish to any rice item.

1. You can also include dania seeds/coriander seeds in masala powder.
