How to prepare Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe With Milkmaid

Ingredients to make Gajar Ka Halwa:

Gajar – ¼ kg
Sugar – 150g
Milk – 200ml or milkmaid – ½ cup
Dry fruits as required (cashew nuts, almonds, raisins, melon seeds, pistachio etc)
Cardamom/Elaichi – ½ tablespoon (powder)

Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe With Milkmaid preparation method :

1. Heat a pan with 2 tablespoons of ghee. When ghee heated, fry cashew nuts, raisins separately. Then, take them out from the ghee and keep them aside.

2. To the same pan add 2 tablespoons of ghee and grated Gajar. Fry it for 5 to 6 minutes until it wetness evaporates.

3. Then, add 200ml milk to it and cook it by closing lid until it becomes thick. Otherwise, add milkmaid and a little water. Then, add 150g of sugar and ½ tablespoon cardamom powder. Stir it well until it becomes thick.

4. Then, finally add fried dry fruits and stir it. Switch off the flame.
