How to make Korralu Millet Biryani | Thinai Pulao | Foxtail Millet Kichidi

Ingredients to make Korralu Biryani:

Korra Rice/Foxtail Millet – 1 cup
Carrots – 2
Beans – few
Green peas – few
Mint leaves – few
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
Bay leaf – 1
Cardamoms – 1-2
Cloves – 3-4
Shahi Jeera – ¼ tablespoon
Sat as required
Ghee as required
oil as required

Korralu Millet Biryani | Thinai Pulao | Foxtail Millet Kichidi Preparation Method:

1. Heat a pan with 2 tablespoons of oil and 2 tablespoons of ghee. When it heated, add spices shahi jeera, cloves, cardamoms. Stir it well.

2. Then, add vertically chopped onion pieces and green chilies. When they fried, add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste. Stir it for 1 minute.

3. Then, add carrot pieces, beans, green peas and mint leaves. Fry them for 2-3 minutes until raw smell went out.

4. Then, add 3 cups of water. When it is boiling add 1 cut foxtail millets. Close the cooker lid and cook it for 15 minutes or for 3 whistles.

5. Now the delicious and healthy Foxtail Millets Biryani Recipe is ready to serve.

6. Serve it hot with raita or any curry recipe.
